So it was Gina’s 38th birthday on July 5th…Victor and I drove from Massachusettes to Virginia all day on the 4th of July!!! For my followers from other countries, I will explain one of our most revered holidays in America…Independence Day, also referred to as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the USA, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, and were no longer part of the British Empire. This special day is associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, speeches, ceremonies and American flags, lots of flags!! So I am focusing on creative flags for this 4th of July post!!
